Legal & Risk Disclosure
All disclosures, terms, and policies in one place. Please read carefully before using the platform.
Terms of Service
Effective 1 January 2026
Acceptance. By creating an account, connecting a brokerage account, or using any Abnormal FX feature, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Nature of the service
Abnormal FX provides software that mirrors trades from a strategy provider's brokerage account onto brokerage accounts that users connect themselves. The platform sends order commands to your broker. It is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, portfolio manager, commodity trading advisor, or registered financial services firm. Abnormal FX does not hold, manage, or custody user funds at any time.
2. No custody, no withdrawal rights
Your money stays in your own brokerage account with your broker. The credentials you provide grant order-placement access only. Abnormal FX cannot and does not withdraw, transfer, or move funds. Your broker — not Abnormal FX — is the custodian of your assets and the counterparty to your trades.
3. Eligibility
You must be of legal age to trade financial instruments in your jurisdiction, and you are responsible for ensuring that automated trading software and copy trading are permitted by your local laws and your broker's terms. You are responsible for your own tax obligations.
4. Account responsibility
You are responsible for the security of your login, for the accuracy of the broker credentials you connect, and for all activity on your account. You may disconnect your brokerage account or pause copying at any time from your terminal; doing so takes effect on the platform but does not close positions already open at your broker — you remain responsible for managing those.
5. Fees
Subscription fees are billed in advance through our payment processor. Fees are for access to the software. Cancelling stops future billing; access continues to the end of the paid period. Your broker may separately charge spreads, commissions, swaps, or other costs that Abnormal FX does not control or receive.
6. Availability
The platform depends on third parties — your broker, its API, market data providers, and hosting infrastructure. Service may be interrupted by maintenance, outages, or failures at any of them. Abnormal FX does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. See the Automation Disclaimer below.
7. Termination
You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other users or the platform. On termination, copying stops; open positions at your broker remain yours to manage.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abnormal FX is not liable for trading losses, lost profits, missed trades, delayed or failed order execution, broker or data-provider failures, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
Risk Disclosure
Effective 1 January 2026
Trading leveraged gold (XAUUSD) carries a high risk of loss. You can lose some or all of your capital. Only trade money you can afford to lose entirely.
Leverage magnifies losses
Gold is traded on margin with leverage of up to 1:500. Leverage multiplies losses exactly as it multiplies gains. A small adverse move can lose a large portion of your account, and in fast markets losses can exceed your deposit depending on your broker's terms and negative-balance policy.
Gold is volatile
XAUUSD can move sharply around economic releases, central-bank decisions, and geopolitical events. Price gaps — where the market jumps without trading at the levels in between — can cause your stop to fill at a materially worse price than the level set, producing a larger loss than intended.
Past performance means nothing
Any historical results, statistics, equity curves, or track records shown on this platform describe the past. They are not a promise, projection, or guarantee of future results. A strategy that has been profitable can lose money at any time, including immediately after you subscribe.
You bear the risk
Every position is opened in your own brokerage account, in your name, at your risk. You choose which provider to follow and what risk percentage to use. You can pause or disconnect at any time. Nothing on this platform is personalized investment advice or a recommendation to trade.
Position sizing
Trades are sized to the risk percentage you set. The broker's minimum order size is 0.01 lots, so on small accounts a trade can risk a larger percentage than your target — this is shown to you as an "over-risked" warning when it happens. The minimum account balance to connect is $500.
Seek independent advice
If you do not fully understand these risks, seek advice from an independent, licensed financial adviser before using this platform.
Automation Disclaimer
Effective 1 January 2026
Automated copying is software acting on your account. It can fail, lag, or behave unexpectedly. These are the specific, known limits of how this platform works.
Copies are not identical to the provider's trade
Your entry price will usually differ from the provider's because of slippage, spread, latency, and your broker's execution. Position size differs by design — it is calculated from your balance and risk setting, not copied from the provider's lot size. Your result will therefore differ, sometimes materially.
Protective levels
The platform copies the provider's exact stop-loss and take-profit prices; it does not recalculate them. A trade that the provider opens without a stop is deliberately not copied at all. If a stop cannot be confirmed on a copied position, the platform closes that position rather than leave it unprotected — which may realise a loss.
Delays and failures
Copying depends on your broker's API. Outages, rate limits, expired or changed credentials, insufficient margin, instrument unavailability, or network failures can delay a copy, prevent it entirely, or prevent a close. Trades may be missed. Positions may remain open longer than the provider's. The platform is designed to fail safe — it will skip rather than guess — but it cannot guarantee that every provider trade is mirrored.
Your responsibility to supervise
Automation does not remove your responsibility. You should monitor your brokerage account independently. You retain full control at your broker at all times and can close positions or revoke access yourself. Pausing or disconnecting on the platform stops new copies but does not close existing positions.
Earnings Disclaimer
Effective 1 January 2026
Abnormal FX makes no income claims, profit promises, or performance guarantees of any kind.
No promised outcome
Nothing on this platform — including strategy pages, statistics, charts, calculators, planning tools, or marketing material — should be read as a promise or likelihood of profit. The majority of retail traders lose money trading leveraged products.
Illustrative tools
Calculators and planners on this platform (including position sizing and target planning) are arithmetic illustrations of the inputs you enter. They are not forecasts, not performance records, and not a representation that any target is achievable. Figures shown are labelled as illustrative wherever they appear.
Individual results vary
Results differ between users following the same provider, because of account size, risk setting, broker, spread, slippage, timing, and when you subscribed. Another user's results tell you nothing about yours.
Not financial advice
Abnormal FX is not an investment adviser and does not provide personalized financial advice. Any educational or coaching feature — including AI-generated commentary — is general information only, may be inaccurate, and must not be relied on as advice. Decisions are yours alone.
Privacy Policy
Effective 1 January 2026
What we collect
- Account data — your email and a hashed password. We never store your Abnormal FX password in readable form.
- Broker credentials — the login for the brokerage account you connect, so the platform can place orders on it.
- Trading data — copied trades, balances, and the notes or tags you add in your journal.
- Agreements — the name you type when signing a disclosure, plus timestamp and IP address, as a record of consent.
- Basic technical data — IP address and request logs for security and abuse prevention.
How broker credentials are protected
Broker credentials are encrypted at rest with strong symmetric encryption. The encryption key is held separately from the database, so a copy of the database alone cannot decrypt them. Operators cannot read your broker password. Credentials are used solely to place and manage orders on the account you connected, and are deleted immediately when you disconnect that account.
Who we share with
We share only what is necessary with the providers that run the service: your broker (to place orders), our payment processor (to bill you — we never see or store full card numbers), our hosting and database providers, and, if you use the AI coach, the AI provider — which receives your trading statistics and journal text, never your credentials. We do not sell your personal data.
Retention
We keep account and trading records while your account is open and for as long as needed afterward to meet legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Security and consent audit records are retained as an append-only history even after an account is closed.
Your choices
You can disconnect your brokerage account at any time, which deletes the stored credentials. You may request access to or deletion of your personal data by contacting us, subject to records we are required to retain.
